a glimpse into circle
this 5m video shares moments from our final circle last year – reflections, laughter, and deep beauty from the container we built together. handmade, loving, full of heart.
the heart of the circle
is a cozy, magical temple for brilliant, eclectic, spirit-led women. we are good witches, healers, creatives, and sacred oddballs, gathering with unique gifts and happy magics up our sleeves.
for witchy & wonderful folk who:
- delight in working with helping spirits in the unseen
- love a good book, a good cry, a good cackle, a warm hearth
- are sensitive, smart, spiritually feral, and deeply kind
- need consistent, light-touch magic to stay resourced in our wild times
we have bandwidth here – we’re by turn unusual, tender, goofy, loving, and wise.
we are good witches, healers, creatives, and sacred oddballs.
we carry unique gifts, and happy magics up our sleeves.
why we come together
there is strength when we circle, and joy when we play. when we share our hearts, we’re changed by the experience. each circle is a different gift, and it’s relieving to be with others who aren’t ‘just one thing,’ but instead a truly special brew.
monthly, we share from the heart, do a bit of spirit work, create gentle art or magic, and are witnessed – without fixing, comment, or pressure. just presence, and love.
our format
- where: zoom (think pajamas, cozy quilts, cats)
- structure: deep listening, no advice, monthly themes
- practices: spirit journeys, sacred art, story, rest
- essence: low-key, high-resonance. just be yourself
- remember: how it feels to belong
here’s our path through the year. skim at a glance, or read in detail:
JAN – crafting strong ceremony. ritual repeats…ceremony changes the creation.
FEB – the goddesses. choose a goddess and journey to her temple for strength.
MAR – the best use of you. what’s yours to tend in our world? the spirits speak.
APR – fool’s day. tarot, laughter, wild archetypes. bring a deck – we are sacred fools.
MAY – wildness. beltane energy. sensuality, embodiment, animal joy.
JUN – resonance & rapport. build relationship with elements, well ancestors, animals
JUL – crafternoon! felt, knit, sew, paint, create. bring a project, craft in community.
AUG – book, book, books. choose a beloved book, journey into it (a fan favorite).
SEP – ferocity. connect with the goddess sekhmet & claim a fierce miracle.
OCT – the veils are thin. witches, familiars, ancestral magic, old ways. samhain.
NOV – slowing down & radical retreat. slowness as spell. learn to refill the well.
DEC – the resting place. candelight, custom tea blends, storytelling. winter magic.
january:
crafting strong ceremony
this is a light-touch circle – it’s designed not to require your time overmuch. however! good witches are encouraged to perform monthly ceremony for self, community, and planet. we’ll dive into the difference between ritual and ceremony, and how to work with the spirits to create effective, wonderful ones.
february
the goddesses
they’ve been with us through the millennia and walk with us today in our complex and beautiful times. everyone chooses a goddess to work with, and we journey into her temples for strength. it’s amazing to hear about goddesses from every corner of creation that move our hearts.
march
the best use of you
of countless pressing topics that you care deeply about and need attention, what is the best use of you? focused (and long-term) efforts bear fruit. scattered hopelessness does not. we’ll take this to the spirits and learn what is ours to tend and mend in the larger emerging landscape.
april
fool’s day
gird thy loins! we’re opening the tarot libraries this month, and it’s going to be fun and fabulous. bring a deck (or several), and we’ll accompany the fool on her journey through the major stations of life. we’ll journey (literally) into the major arcana we each draw. strong, fruitful, and fun.
may
wildness
beltane anyone? the goddess and god have always found ways to celebrate the carnal, the raw delight in being embodied, and in our sensual animal selves. instead of engaging the trance of the mind, we’ll get into our bodies and celebrate sex, sensuality, wildness, being feral (in a good way), and free.
june
resonance, rapport, and art
what you pay attention to pays attention back. where are you putting your focus? what elemental, plant, animal, or celestial beings are inviting your attention, and how can you build resonance and rapport with them? we’ll create sacred art this month to help us align with the gifts and helpful beings that support us.
july
crafternoon
ready for a creative oasis? creating is healing and resources us deeply. be you a geek for quilting, stained glass, watercolor, chain mail, candles, tinctures, and tisanes — crochet and coloring, felting or weaving — it’s on. it’s super fun to sit and cozily craft together with good tunes. this circle is especially nourishing.
august
books, books, books
bibliophiles unite! is this my favorite circle? maybe! we’ll share the books we’re reading that nourish and delight us, and then journey with the spirits into one of them (could be a current read, a childhood favorite). bookwrecks abound. bring your reading glasses and cup of tea.
september
ferocity
sekhmet, sekhmet, sekhmet. i am a devotee of her and love her in her wild fury and tempest (and in her gentle moments, too). if you’re not yet familiar with this lioness deity from ancient egypt, she is formidable, direct, and loving. we’ll visit her temple at karnak and each receive a fierce miracle.
october
the veils are thin
samhain. day of the dead. thin veils, black cats, spells, cauldrons, old traditions masked in more recent ones. we’ll journey with the spirits to your inner witch, and learn how she wishes to be more fully expressed in your outer world. bring your besom, your familiar, and blessed be.
november
slowing down
the trance is going to want us to move faster, commit more, stretch thinly now. bread and circuses abound. instead of that nonsense, we’ll explore personal retreat and each take a mini one in circle. yours can be two hours and still fill you to your gills. instructional materials included.
december
the resting place
in the northern hemisphere, we are deep in winter. snow glistens on the trees. creatures are in burrows. bodies wish to slow. trees are bare. this month, we each concoct and brew an herbal tea blend by hand to soothe our souls, and share stories by candlelight of hope and healing. then, we rest.
circle with magical kin. share in unabashed, raw, compassionate, funny, heartfelt ways.
why ‘good witches?’
to be a good witch is to be a medicine person: keeper of the old ways, traveler of the path, herb woman, hedge witch, wisdom keeper. a gifted one with pure heart.
our sensitivity is our strength, we who work with magic, spirit helpers, unusual tools, and strong intention. we anchor good when it’s needed here planetside most.
parts of this circle will feel whimsical and fun – that’s intentional antidote for our times. and. there is a deadly serious commitment in me to help magical kin feel resourced and well, so we can each do what we came here to.
love, play, kindness, and good witchery will get us through. warm welcome, good witches!
choose your cauldron
choose below with honesty about where you’re at, and join us for a year.
- $95/month: the tisane, welcoming a little support
- $145/month: the oracle, feeling strong and steady
- $195/month: the cauldron, life overfloweth, you can help others
monthly payments via card. your spot is yours for the year (even if life comes up and you miss a circle or two).
how to join the circle
in a warm orientation gathering, meet circle elders and other good witches. see how it feels to be together as we journey with the spirits and connect. I’ll bring the teakettle, you the stories. this is going to be so much fun!
final blessing
may your path be gentle, your magic remembered.
may the circle find you ready and full of heart.
may your guides whisper clearly.
welcome, good witch.
your seat is waiting.
with love,
anna
this circle is playful, and profound.
it’s where the light gathers to grow stronger.
lived experience
‘I got to celebrate my witchy self and stop apologizing for who I really am, with amazing women who get it.
I came to this point where I’d read enough books and done enough solo practice. something about working with the spirits and sharing in the safe space anna creates – well, it felt like coming home.
I needed this. it was so good for me.
anna, thanks so much. I didn’t quite know what I said yes to, but I’m really, really glad I did. circle changed my life.’
‘how much did I love this? this was so fun.
it would be impossible to pick a favorite circle. the book world was incredible, but I think I liked the ones best where we did the most sharing, about our lives and our spiritual practices.
I learned so much from each of the women – truly. things I’ll treasure for my life, and help me to this day.
if you’re feeling like a witchy soul in a mundane world, you’ll find sisters here. this was the BEST magic.’
